This is a nonproprietary ultra-low-power MSP430 based reference design.  Product development services provided by EPDDCS remain the confidential property of the particular client that contracted for them.  This is provided as a simple but detailed example of capability.  

 

Smart Water Valve Controller Board

SMART WATER VALVE CONTROLLER BOARD

This is a proprietary design for a smart water valve controller board based on the Texas Instruments ultra-low-power MSP430F147 microcontroller.   EPDDCS worked with the client to specify, design, prototype, test, evaluate, and put into production this next generation of the client’s product.  EPDDCS provided system design, circuit design, PCB layout, software/firmware development, documentation, mechanical engineering support, test & programming procedures, and contract manufacturing support.

 

Control Panel Board

CONTROL PANEL BOARD

This is a proprietary design for the control panel of a residential smart water valve system based on the Texas Instruments ultra-low-power MSP430F437 microcontroller. EPDDCS worked with the client to specify, design, prototype, test, evaluate, and put into production this next generation of the client’s product.   EPDDCS provided system design, circuit design, PCB layout, software/firmware development, documentation, mechanical engineering support, test & programming procedures, and contract manufacturing support.

 

Circuit Design and PCB Layout

CIRCUIT DESIGN AND PCB LAYOUT

EPDDCS can provide circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and full documentation (including schematics, bill of materials, PCB fabrication files (Gerber and drill files), assembly drawings, test procedures, etc.). PCB layout experience ranges from prototypes to production including single sided thru hole to double sided with mixed surface mount and thru hole all the way on up to complex multi-layer boards with mixed surface mount and thru hole components on both sides.
